RE: Any New Information on Mission Tires

Mission Tires We have a 2006 Bighorn that has 16 inch Mission tires on it. 235/80R16 filled to 80 PSI. We had 1 blow out at 5500 miles. We were lucky there was mostly cosmetic damage repaired by my husband for about $200. We had a tire warranty so we were refunded the price of the tire. Then 500 miles later we noticed 1 tire becoming larger then all the others and the temperature had risen 20 degrees's more then all the rest. We have been monitoring temperature not pressure. We changed the tire and found 6 grapefruit site bubbles inside. So we avoided a blowout! After several emails and 1 phone call to Heartland we got the number for where Heartland gets it's tires. Heartland's tires come from TIRECO phone # 1-800-227-8925 After DH explained what happened to the TIRECO representative on Monday February 25,2008. DH was told we would have 4 brand new tires in 5-10 business days. The new tires FREESTAR arrived today 4 days after speaking to the representative. Now that is GOOD customer service. So now we need to make an appointment to get them mounted and balanced. The tire company does not pay for that

RE: Travel nurses?

Hello fellow nurses I am an RN have been for over 28 years and was an LPN for 4 years before that. I work in PACU or Recovery Room to some. I decide to travel a little over a year ago. I took positions in Austin Texas, Charlotte NC and Ft Pierce FL. Traveling is not for everyone. Depending what area you work in depends if you can find positions where you want. There are limited positions in PACU. 52 for all 50 states and 3/4 were on the night shift. I am licensed in compact states and Florida so I have 20 some to choose from. Every position I took I had drug testing and background checks that needed to be done. My 1st travel position I had 8.5 hours and pre-testing to do on the computer before arriving. This was your general orientation. Accucheck certification, fire and safety etc. I have found for myself doing this every 3 months and having new computer charting, new equipment, new policy and procedures that I need not to be traveling. I loved where we went and being able to see the country. After a little over 1 year we have parked our RV. I accepted a full-time position at a hospital in Austin Texas and my husband has found work at the campground we are living at. He is a network engineer by trade but as we travel he could not find work. In Florida he applied for over 30 positions and the only job offered to him was BELOW minimum wage at Wal-Mart cleaning bathrooms at night. So we both are happier settled in one spot. Let me know if I can answer anyone questions Jackie

RE: Anyone dislike mirrored closet doors as much as I do?

Hello We are in the process of replacing the mirrors in the doors with 1/4 inch oak plywood that DH is staining and polying. We are using the same frame and hardware. Does not help those who have limited space between bed and doors. We have plenty of room between our bed and doors since we swaped the king size bed for our queeen
